South Australia, Victoria and Queensland Issue Waterworks Tenders

Tenders have been released for wastewater network construction and upgrades. Watsons Pty Ltd has issued a tender for the construction of 300 mm diameter sewer main and associated works in Cranbourne West, Victoria. Works will involve the construction of 460 m of 300 mm diameter PVC sewer main at 570 Hall Road, Cranbourne West.

Applicants must have appropriate South East Water accreditation or be suitably qualified and willing to achieve accreditation status to carry out the required works. Applicants will be required to enter into a Deed Agreement and Contract (AS4000) with South East Water and the Developer and will be required to commence works in early August 2013. Submissions close at 12 pm, 22 July 2013.

The South Australian Water Corporation has issued a tender for its wastewater mains rehabilitation program. Submissions close 23 July 2013. Also, South East Water will release a tender in late July for the $A357 million project that will see the installation of new sewer infrastructure on the Southern Mornington Peninsula. Works will involve laying 230 km of pressure sewer pipes using horizontal directional drilling as the preferred option.

The Western Downs Regional Council in Queensland has released a tender for sewerage network upgrades in the South West and Darling Downs areas of Queensland. Submissions close 2 August 2013.
