REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (“RFEOI”)

Edra through its subsidiary in Malaysia namely Panglima Power Sdn Bhd wishes to invite prospective applicants to express their interest in participating in the tender exercise as stated below:

The Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (“CCGT”) power plant consists of 2 Siemens Dual-Fuel F-Class gas turbines, 1 Siemens steam turbine, 3 heat recovery steam generators, 3 generators and balance of plant, with a total capacity of 720MW. The F-class CCGT power plant owned by PPSB has several advantages including high efficiency, high reliability, flexibility andlower emissions. The CCGT power plant is designed to produce more electricity with less fuel consumption, thereby reducing emissions, operating costs and is highly reliable with a low rate of unplanned maintenance downtime. The CCGT power plant is flexible and with its modular design, the plant equipment can be easily adapted and retrofit to different power plant configurations and operating conditions. The CCGT power plant is suitable for a wide range of applications from peaking power plants to baseload and combined-cycle plants. Major Overhaul (“MO”) were carried out for the CCGT power plant in FY2021. The Hot Gas Parts (“HGP”) and most key parts were replaced during the MO. The Equivalent Operating Hours (“EOH”) are low, hence these units could still operate further with the current HGP and positions the CCGT power plant as an attractive choice for repowering.

Prospective applicants who are interested to participate in the above RFEOI are required to state their interest through a company letter head stating their interest and providing the complete information as stated below via email to tender.secretariat@edra.energy on or before 7 July 2023.

The expression of interest along with the information provided therein, will be reviewed and evaluated to determine the Responsive Applicants. Edra will only issue invitation via email to the Responsive Applicant to participate in the Tender. The complete information on the Tender and related documents shall be attached with the invitation email.
