Landis + Gyr Partner With Grid4C to Integrate Smart Metering Analytics

A new partnership has been formed to integrate smart metering and analytics to address the energy industry’s next generation use cases in the Asia Pacific.

Artificial intelligence-enabled energy analytics firm Grid4C is combining its solutions with Landis+Gyr’s smart meters to deliver predictive insights at the grid edge with real-time decisions.

The integration removes the need to incorporate a meter data management system within a utility’s network.

The solution provides energy providers with granular real time predictions and actionable insights for their operations and customer-facing applications.

The system will provide capabilities including load forecasting and distributed energy resources optimisation, home energy management at the appliance level, and the prediction, detection, and diagnostics of faults for grid assets and home appliances.

The aim is to improve operational planning, reduce peak demand, increase energy savings, deliver new revenue streams, and increase customer engagement.

The two had previously partnered to provide solutions for utilities in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong.
