Alfa Laval shows the bright way to profitable power at POWER-GEN Europe 2014

Alfa Laval will participate in POWER-GEN Europe 2014, the leading conference and exhibition for the international power and renewable industries, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, from 3 to 5 June, 2014. At the Alfa Laval stand, visitors will be able to discover many bright ways to achieve profitable power, such as our comprehensive waste heat recovery solutions that improve their bottom line and environmental footprint.

POWER-GEN Europe provides comprehensive coverage of the trends, technologies and issues facing the power generation sector. Among the challenges that are certain to be discussed are energy efficiency and environmental protection, which will both be reflected at Alfa Laval’s stand.

The Alfa Laval stand at POWER-GEN will feature many bright ways to achieve profitable power, such as our exhaust gas waste heat recovery solutions. With as much as 35% of an engine’s fuel energy going into the exhaust flow as waste heat, there are substantial savings to be made when that energy is recovered and reused. Alfa Laval delivers optimized, reliable systems for waste heat recovery from any source and for various applications, including district heating/cooling, process heat, electricity production and fresh water generation.

Our solutions help our customers to better accommodate their operational needs while at the same time coping with rising fuel prices and tightening environmental regulations.

Another area we will focus on is meeting upcoming legislation. Alfa Laval’sPureVent is a new high-speed separator ensuring compliance with Tier 4 crankcase emission limits. This disc-stack separator removes 99% of the oil droplets and particles, but without any filter waste or impact on the crankcase pressure.

Alfa Laval offers a wide range of air-cooled radiators designed for heavy industrial cooling applications, even in the most extreme conditions.
