Inter RAO – Engineering adopts AVEVA solutions for Russian power projects

Inter RAO – Engineering, a Russian engineering contractor (EPC) in the power industry, has implemented AVEVA engineering and design software and Information Management solution. Inter RAO – Engineering’s decision was based on AVEVA’s reputation for successful project implementation in Russia and abroad, the high competency level of AVEVA specialists and AVEVA’s flexible approach to meeting clients’ requirements.

Inter RAO – Engineering has acquired a range of products, including AVEVA PDMS and AVEVA Electrical, as well as AVEVA NET. Inter RAO – Engineering will receive training in working in the integrated AVEVA 3D environment, as well as in configuring workflows to existing business practices.

Meeting all applicable international standards, these AVEVA solutions will serve as a platform to perform engineering and design work on complex projects. They will enable the company to increase project quality, achieve clash-free design, shorten project timescale and improve its overall business performance.

“AVEVA meets the requirements of the most demanding customers because we work very closely with them to carefully evaluate the technology options and recommend the most effective approaches,” said Evgeny Fedotov, Senior Vice President AVEVA Russia, India & Middle East. “Working in the integrated AVEVA environment, users are able to create and structure data collaboratively. The EPC can then deliver the structured and detailed data to the Owner Operator with the confidence that they are providing a trustworthy platform for many years to come.”
