China Xidian Group to deliver transformer substation to Thailand

China Xidian Group and Thailand’s National Generating Bureau have signed a contract for a transformer substation project in Thailand.

This is the first time that high-voltage power transmission equipment made in China is being used in Thailand.

The project is a hub substation, which will provide power to areas in the southern part of Thailand. China Xidian Group will provide equipment for the substation, and will give installation instructions and make field trials. Xidian will also jointly manage the project with Thailand TEDA Co.

China Xidian Group, which is headquartered in Xi’an, capital of Northwest China’s Shaanxi province, is one of China’s key makers of distribution and transmission equipment.
