Opra Turbines partner with Transwater API

Opra Turbines said Transwater API will become an official distributor, service partner and packager for Opra in Malaysia and Brunei.

With over 30 years’ experience in the energy industry, Opra said Transwater is a strong partner to work with in the Asia-Pacific region.

“We are very pleased to welcome Transwater on board as a new partner for Opra in Malaysia and Brunei,” said Christoph Zahn, Sales Director Business Development at OPRA Turbines. “This will develop and strengthen our presence further within Asia-Pacific. Transwater’s strong set up within the oil and gas market, their turnkey engineering capabilities and their local packaging and manufacturing facilities will provide our customers with immediate, local and competent support from project development all the way to aftermarket services. We are looking forward to a successful working partnership.”

Opra is a developer and manufacturer of advanced gas turbine based generator sets in the 1.8 MW power range. OPRA Turbines is headquartered in Hengelo, the Netherlands.

Transwater is an established engineering and leading integrated solutions provider. The company also offers final control (flow control, pressure relief management and isolation valve) and other solutions including engineering, electrical, environmental, educational, projects and services for the upstream and downstream oil and gas industry.
