Ley Choon Group Win $14.5 Million Utility Contract

Ley Choon Group Holdings, a Singapore-based construction and engineering company, said Tuesday it has received a new contract worth S$19.6 million ($14.50 million) from the Public Utilities Board for replacement of water mains.

The project involves the supply and laying of steel potable water pipelines, and will employ the traditional and proven open, cut and backfill method, the company said in an exchange filing.

The project will commence next year and is expected to continue for 24 months, it said.
